Beyond the studio
Through collaborations with organizations, schools, and community initiatives, Emmanuel uses art to inspire creativity, expand opportunities, and create lasting social impact.
Emmanuel is not only a fine artist and painter. His work extends beyond the studio into education, empowerment, and community transformation, through collaborations with organizations including Chess in Slums Africa and Slum2School Africa.
Community mural work with Slum2School Africa, bringing color and art into underserved neighborhoods and classrooms. In 2019, Emmanuel worked directly on wall murals with the iVolunteer team, sketching and painting portraits alongside other volunteers. He later painted the exterior mural for the Slum2School Innovation Hub, and presented a piece of his work to former US Ambassador to Nigeria Mary Beth Leonard alongside Slum2School founder Otto Orondaam. In 2026, the partnership grew into the Saga Project: a circular, solar-powered community building wrapped floor to roof in his murals, with a playground and learning space inside for children in the village it now serves.
An ongoing partnership with Chess in Slums Africa and its founder, Tunde Onakoya, using chess and art to reach children in underserved communities. Emmanuel has painted a hand-crafted chess boat, led mural and painting sessions with kids at Chess Beyond Borders events in Oshodi and under the Mokola bridge in Ibadan, and shown his chess-themed portraits alongside the initiative's community outreach.

Emmanuel took part in the Dulux Art Fest Sip & Paint Challenge, joining the team on stage to present first, second, and third prizes to young winners of the family painting competition.
